Part Time / Full Time: FULL TIME

Overview

The primary responsibility of the Area Manager is to oversee their individual store as well as the operations, human resources of the assigned area stores and to ensure that the assigned contribution, sales goals, and all other store activities are achieved. The responsibility of the Area Manager is to monitor and assist the store(s) managers, within the assigned area, with day-to-day operation issues, manage the sales building process and assist the Store(s) Managers to maintain a positive working environment at all Retail store locations. They will also establish a strong communication link between the corporate goals and objectives and Store Operations daily.

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • To maximize the sales and profitability of the store(s) by achieving and surpassing planned sales, productivity and shrink goals.
  • To create a store(s) environment that reflects the company philosophy of exceptional customer service.
  • To provide the coaching and leadership required to ensure the successful achievement of each store manager within the area as well as their individual store sales associates and assistant manager’s personal sales productivity standards.
  • To maintain the day-to-day operations of the store, and constantly monitor results compared to operating budgets.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 6 years of retail experience; minimum of 3 in a supervisory capacity
  • Passion and previous experience in home styling or fashion retail
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and building customer loyalty
  • Above and beyond standards of service, set by motivation and example
  • Ability to lead teams to exceed all sales and profit goals
  • Strong motivational, team building, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
  • A solution-focused mindset with the ability to see obstacles as opportunities
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on customer service style
