Located in our bright offices in South Burnaby, our dynamic in-house creative team continues to grow! We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Visual Merchandising Coordinator to join our team.

As Junior Merchandising Coordinator, you will work with our Lead Merchandiser, store and web teams to execute our brand vision and visual merchandising directions both instore and online! By working with seasoned professionals, you will help develop and coordinate a cohesive shopping experience that attracts, engages, and motivates our customers across all channels. This exciting opportunity requires a dynamic mix of hands-on and online/office work with the ultimate goal of driving sales and enhancing the customer shopping experience.

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and testing of new initiatives in in-office mock shop
  • Coordinate with team members for the preparation and styling of product for photoshoots
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of visual merchandising documents (including store directives, visual standards guidelines, and look books)

E-Commerce Merchandising

  • Collaborate with content and e-commerce teams to create and merchandise product category pages
  • Ensure all featured products are up-to-date across all pages of the website, including the blog, category pages, and content pages
  • Work collaboratively with the content team to plan and build new merchandised pages
  • Maintain, populate, and update website styling guides

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in retail/merchandising
  • Diploma in visual merchandising
  • Experience in retail or wholesale in a display and merchandising function, focusing on home decor, fashion and/or accessories
  • Proven experience with building, implementing, and maintaining display and visual merchandising programs

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adobe Creative Suite an asset
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Valid BC Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift 40 lb boxes/fixtures

  • Customer service-first mentality with a passion for building relationships
  • Detail-oriented with a positive team spirit — you are comfortable providing constructive suggestions and following established company branding
  • Flexible, self-starting, and autonomous

  • Familiarity with interior design an asset

Schedule

Monday to Friday
Core Hours: 9:00–5:30
