Our 300TC TENCEL™ Lyocell Blend Sheets have been a popular and beloved cornerstone of our Aruba luxury sheeting line for years, well known for their incredible softness and temperature regulation. So how could we make them even better? By adding even more of what made them so great in the first place!
What’s Different - More of the Good Stuff
The biggest change with our new Eucalyptus Luxe luxury sheets is exactly that - more of the revolutionary fiber that goes into TENCEL™ Lyocell fabrics, and all of the benefits that come with that.
TENCEL™ is produced from raw wood pulp sustainably and responsibly harvested eucalyptus trees, and turned into a fiber in a non-toxic, eco-friendly process. This fiber is then interwoven with cotton to create the fabric that goes into our sheeting and bedding products. So, by increasing the thread count from the 300 of our classic TENCEL™ Lyocell sheets to the 500 thread count of our new Eucalyptus Luxe, we’re simply increasing the amount of this great fabric we put into every square inch.
The result? Sheets that are beyond indulgently luxurious, with a soft, lustrous buttery texture that flows and drapes beautifully against the skin. By increasing the thread count, the new Eucalyptus Luxe sheets feel fuller and richer against the body, but remain well-balanced by TENCEL’s natural moisture wicking and temperature regulating properties, giving them a smooth, creamy softness while still feeling airy and breathable. Adding more fibre per square inch gives the Eucalyptus Luxe more weight than our previous TENCEL™ Lyocell sheets, making them naturally just a bit denser, and allowing them to fall and caress that much closer to the skin.
What’s the Same - Great for your Sleep, Good for the Planet
Natural and sustainable, the greatness of the Eucalyptus Luxe begins right at the source - from Eucalyptus trees harvested from sustainably run farms certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The trees grow thick and fast, making the material incredibly efficient to produce per acre without requiring any synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Once harvested, the Eucalyptus pulp is processed using a non-toxic, organic solvent in a cycle that ensures more than 99% of the solvent is recovered & reused. TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric is thoroughly tested and OEKO-TEX Standard certified, ensuring that every last fiber and thread is free from harmful chemicals.
