EACH PARTICIPANT (OR MINOR PARTICIPANT’S PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN) AGREES TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES. CONTEST IS OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF CANADA, EXCLUDING RESIDENTS OF QUEBEC.
ELIGIBILITY
The QE Home Yukon Comfort Contest (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding the province of Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, retirees, representatives, agents, affiliates, franchisees, advertising and promotional agencies of QE Home, as well as immediate family members of such employees and retirees or persons with whom they are domiciled, are not eligible to enter.
SPONSOR
The Contest is sponsored by QE Home, 8168 Glenwood Drive, Burnaby, BC V3N 5E9 (the “Sponsor”).
ENTRY PERIOD
The Contest entry period begins Feb 7th, 2026 at 12:01 AM Pacific Time, and will end at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the day before QE Home's store at Chilkoot Centre opens (the “Contest Period”).
Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
HOW TO ENTER
Participants must input their First Name, Last Name, and Email Address via our signup portal at https://www.qehomelinens.com/whitehorse/ to enter.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
Entries generated by automated, robotic, or improvised means are prohibited. Entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, false, late, lost, or otherwise non-compliant with these Rules may be disqualified.
NOTIFICATION
a) Each winner of the Contest (“Winner”) will be notified by email and/or by phone number at the email address and/or phone number provided during entry. The Sponsor shall not be liable for failed, returned, or misdirected notifications, or notifications which otherwise cannot be sent by the Sponsor or received by the finalist. The Winners will have forty-eight (48) hours from the time of first notification as set forth above to respond, as directed in the notification. A non-response by a finalist or non-receipt of notification response after the specified forty-eight (48) hours will be considered forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be re-drawn.
b) The Winners will be notified after 9:00 am (Pacific) within ten (10) business days following the closing of submission deadline, and will be required to correctly answer a skill-testing mathematical question and complete a contest release form prior to being awarded the prize.
WINNER SELECTION
Ten (10) winners will be chosen for each respective prize after the contest ends.
- Each Winner will be chosen by the Sponser.
- The Sponsor will tabulate entries, including bonus entries, verify eligibility, and select a Winners at random.
- Winner selection must occur within 24 hours after the entry window closes.
The Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility and compliance prior to awarding any prize.
PRIZE
At the end of the submission deadline, ten (10) Winners will be chosen amongst the participants. Each will recieve one (1) of the ten (10) available prizes.
These prizes consist of:
- One (1) Legacy Canadian Hutterite White Goose Down Duvet with Winner's choice of Duvet Cover + Pillow Shams.
- Three (3) Luxury Sheet Sets (excludes silk and silk blend products).
- Six (6) $100 QE Home gift cards.
Each Prize is non-transferable and non-assignable, and is not refundable, and must be accepted as awarded. Prize shall have no redeemable cash value. No cash or other substitution may be made.
Prize Conditions
- Winner may choose between Twin, Double, Queen, and King sizes for their prizes.
- No substitutions, exchanges, or cash equivalents are permitted.
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and must be accepted as awarded.
- Winners must pick up their prize at a QE Home retail store of their choosing.
- A valid government-issued photo ID is required for pickup.
- Winners must correctly answer the required skill-testing question at pickup.
- Alternatively, Winners may elect to have the prize shipped at their own cost. Sponsor will provide a shipping quote upon request.
- Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest if there is suspected or actual evidence of tampering, fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, or any other event beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control that compromises the fairness or integrity of the Contest.
The Sponsor may disqualify any individual who:
- tampers with or abuses the entry process
- violates these Official Rules
- acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner
Any attempt to intentionally damage any website or undermine the Contest operation may be a violation of criminal and civil laws; Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
RELEASE
By entering, each participant (and if a participant is a minor, their parent/legal guardian) irrevocably releases and holds harmless the Sponsor and its employees, representatives, affiliates, agents, franchisees, and promotional partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, or losses arising from:
- entry or participation in the Contest
- winner selection
- prize acceptance or use
- technical or human error
- email platform issues
PUBLICITY
Except where prohibited by law, participation constitutes consent for the Sponsor to use the Winners':
- name
- likeness
- hometown and province
- submitted content
for promotional purposes, in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further payment or notice.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Sponsor is not responsible for:
- late, lost, stolen, misdirected, or corrupted entries
- technical failures (including outages or errors)
- unauthorized human or automated intervention
- network or platform errors
- data corruption
- printing or typographical errors
- any injury or damage related to participation or prize use
- inability to contact Winners due to privacy settings
DISPUTES
All disputes must be resolved individually, without resort to class action, and exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
Entrants agree to:
- the exclusive jurisdiction of BC courts
- limitation of damages to actual out-of-pocket expenses
- waiver of punitive, consequential, or multiplied damages
PRIVACY
Personal information collected will be used solely for:
- administering the Contest
- contacting Winners
- verifying eligibility
- fulfilling prizes
and will not be used for any other purpose unless consent is expressly provided.
