As First Key/Assistant Manager, your primary responsibility is to support the Store Manager. You will help drive business by overseeing store operations, performing human resources functions, and ensuring the assigned contributions, sales goals and all other store activities are achieved.

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Maximize the sales and profitability of store by achieving and surpassing sales, productivity, and shrink goals
  • Foster a store environment which reflects QE Home’s philosophy of exceptional customer service and product expertise
  • Assist with recruiting, training and developing a team of staff
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store
  • Continuously monitor results in comparison to operating budgets

Skills & Qualifications

  • 4 years retail sales experience with a min. 2 in a supervisory capacity
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and building customer loyalty
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to lead by example
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional time management skills and organizational expertise
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Hands-on style
  • Previous experience in home styling or fashion retail an asset
