$1000 Sustainability Sweepstakes - Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THIS GIVEAWAY. IF YOU ARE A MINOR, YOU MUST HAVE PERMISSION FROM YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN. EACH PARTICIPANT (OR MINOR PARTICIPANT’S PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN) AGREES TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES. CONTEST IS OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF CANADA, EXCLUDING RESIDENTS OF QUEBEC.

ELIGIBILITY

The QE Home Sustainability Sweepstakes Giveaway (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding the province of Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, retirees, representatives, agents, affiliates, franchisees, advertising and promotional agencies of QE Home, as well as immediate family members of such employees and retirees or persons with whom they are domiciled, are not eligible to enter.

SPONSOR

The Contest is sponsored by QE Home, 8168 Glenwood Drive, Burnaby, BC V3N 5E9 (the “Sponsor”).

ENTRY PERIOD

The Contest entry period ends May 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (the “Contest Period”).

Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.

HOW TO ENTER

During the Giveaway entry window, participants must complete all of the following:

  1. Sign up for ReHome using your email.
  2. Recycle your bedding at a participating QE Home store with the same account.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

Entries generated by automated, robotic, or improvised means are prohibited. Entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor.

Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, false, late, lost, or otherwise non-compliant with these Rules may be disqualified.

NOTIFICATION

Winner (“Winner”) will be notified via email.

Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • missed, misdirected or undeliverable notifications
  • notifications filtered into “Junk” or other folders
  • technical issues that delay or prevent delivery

The Winner must:

  1. Respond within 72 hours of first contact
  2. Correctly answer a skill-testing mathematical question
  3. Complete a Contest Release Form via email if requested

Failure to comply or respond within the required timeframe will result in forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected by the Host.

WINNER SELECTION

One (1) Winner will be selected.

  • Winner will be chosen by the Sponsor.
  • The Sponsor will tabulate entries, verify eligibility, and select a Winner at random.
  • Winner selection must occur within 24 hours after the entry window closes.
  • The Sponsor will message the winner via email for verification and prize fulfillment.

The Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility and compliance prior to awarding any prize.

PRIZE

Winner will receive a $1000 QE Home digital gift card.

Prize Conditions

  • No substitutions, exchanges, or cash equivalents are permitted.
  • Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and must be accepted as awarded.
  • Winners may only retrieve their prize via email.
  • Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest if there is suspected or actual evidence of tampering, fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, or any other event beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control that compromises the fairness or integrity of the Contest.

The Sponsor may disqualify any individual who:

  • tampers with or abuses the entry process
  • violates these Official Rules
  • acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner

Any attempt to intentionally damage any website or undermine the Contest operation may be a violation of criminal and civil laws; Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

RELEASE

By entering, each participant (and if a participant is a minor, their parent/legal guardian) irrevocably releases and holds harmless the Sponsor and its employees, representatives, affiliates, agents, franchisees, and promotional partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, or losses arising from:

  • entry or participation in the Contest
  • winner selection
  • prize acceptance or use
  • technical or human error
  • email platform issues

PUBLICITY

Except where prohibited by law, participation constitutes consent for the Sponsor to use the Winner’s:

  • name
  • email
  • likeness
  • hometown and province
  • submitted content

for promotional purposes, in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further payment or notice.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • late, lost, stolen, misdirected, or corrupted entries
  • technical failures (including email outages or errors)
  • unauthorized human or automated intervention
  • network or platform errors
  • data corruption
  • printing or typographical errors
  • any injury or damage related to participation or prize use
  • inability to contact Winner due to privacy settings

DISPUTES

All disputes must be resolved individually, without resort to class action, and exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in the Province of British Columbia, Canada.

Entrants agree to:

  • the exclusive jurisdiction of BC courts
  • limitation of damages to actual out-of-pocket expenses
  • waiver of punitive, consequential, or multiplied damages

PRIVACY

Personal information collected will be used solely for:

  • administering the Contest
  • contacting Winners
  • verifying eligibility
  • fulfilling prizes

and will not be used for any other purpose unless consent is expressly provided.
